Netflix & Chill: September Watchlist

Here are a few things that have been on my watch list this month:

Love is Blind After the Alter - Rating 8/10

What’s it about?

Love is Blind was a hit tv show during the 2020 lockdown. The show focuses on a few couples that begin dating in the pods, then decide if they want to get married or not.

The second series of Love is Blind focused on new couples who decided to take it one step further. The show then follows up with the couples a year after the alter.

My thoughts?

It’s a show that made me think about how people’s old habits or behaviors play a huge part in relationships. There were couples that did not make it to the alter but there are also couples that perhaps shouldn’t have been married.

Get Smart with Money - 9/10

What’s it about?

So this show focuses on understanding the basics of money. Financial literacy isn’t something that is taught in school, so as we grow sometimes it can be difficult to navigate.

My thoughts?

As someone who is currently trying to build finances for my children and husband (at some point), understanding money is crucial. The show focuses on different people and families and their journey to financial freedom. It’s a good watch if you’re hoping to understand your financial mind.
